Values Statement

My community is experiencing a fracturing… some of us can find solace in the denial and bargaining stages of grief,

while others lack the insulating privilege to play the game at all.

None of us are free until all of us are free.

Why I won’t stay apolitical and why that matters here.

I believe that neurodivergence doesn’t exist in a vacuum.

Conversations about ADHD, chronic illness, or executive functioning are always shaped by systemic forces: racism, ableism, classism, colonialism, gender norms, and more.

Pretending otherwise is both untrue and unsafe.

This space is for folks who want to talk about the realities of being neurodivergent and human.

That means talking about injustice. That means holding space for grief and rage and joy.

That means centering the most marginalized and refusing to water things down for palatability.

Here’s where we stand:

Black Lives Matter.

Palestinian liberation is a human rights issue.

Trans rights are non-negotiable.

Disabled lives are worth living AND worth fighting for.

Mental health is political. Access to care is a justice issue.

Neurodivergent people deserve community, not just productivity hacks.

No one should have to mask who they are to be “included.”

Rest, joy, play, and pleasure are part of the work.

This space is anti-racist, anti-fascist, and unapologetically intersectional.

If that resonates, welcome. You belong here.

If not, that’s okay too—but this probably isn’t the space for you.❤️
